In this 3 part class, we’ll tackle button down shirts, including all those fiddly bits, like collars and plackets. The focus on the class will be construction, not fit. Finishing your shirt may require work outside of class-time, but we’ll make sure to cover all the key construction points in class.

You may choose any button down shirt pattern to work from. This includes Granville by Sewaholic, The Classic Shirt by Liesl + Co, Archer by Grainline, Harrison by Cashmerette and Kalle by Closet Case. Feel free to choose another pattern, just please check with us to ensure it fits the parameters of this class.

Techniques learned in this class include button plackets, sleeve plackets, and two piece collars.

This class is Level III, which means there will be prep work that will need to be done before class, and possibly some work on your own between classes. Please make sure before you sign up that you will have time to complete the prep work. This sets you and the other students up for success!

Cancellation Policy : Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date, and students who do not show up to class, will forfeit their registration payment.
