Milano Cape

Milano Cape

The Milano Cape from Papercut Patterns is an unlined cape that features a flat Peter Pan collar, six large buttons, flat single-welt pockets, and a full facing. Suitable for nearly any woven fabric, this cape can span the seasons depending on the fabric you choose.

Please come to class with your fabric washed and pressed (if required), all supplies in hand, and pattern pieces in your desired size traced on to Swedish Tracing Paper. You are welcome to use our workspace to do your tracing prior to class; please check for availability.

See some inspirational photos of the Milano Cape here and here.

Machine Sewing: A Primer, or equivalent experience, required to register. This class is a Level II :: Woven, which means you should be familiar with sewing from a commercial garment sewing pattern, and you should be comfortable setting up and using a sewing machine unassisted.
